Fully Integrated XING Social Sign-in for B2B Sites

It can be really difficult to integrate your website to all social networks API, which is why we have implemented the APP for the social sign in with XING that can be adapted to your own requirements and internal processes.

With over 5 millions of members, XING still dominates LinkedIn in the D/A/CH region. During the second quarter of 2013, the business professionals’ social network had 13.46 million members, and this number is growing month by month.

 

What is the Quick Sign-In for XING?

It can be really difficult to integrate your website to all social networks API, which is why we have implemented the APP for the social sign in with XING that can be adapted to your own requirements and internal processes.

The social sign-in for XING provides you with an easy way to let visitors sign in via the XING social network, to access content or register for an event. All online forms can use social sign-on, where you can also request additional information such as email address and all other important information.

How does it work?

The Quick Sign-In for XING button will be placed in one of your website pages and integrated, if needed, with your existing marketing automation tool.

Once the button is published on your page, all visitors will have the possibility to sign in using their XING credentials, like in the example below:

And if visitors click on the Login with XING button, the second page will request the XING username and password:

In the next step, the user will need to allow the access to his/her XING profile information.

When visitors sign in with XING in your website, only accessible information will be retrieved and saved in your database. When setting up the App in your website, you have the option to ask some extra information during the XING sign in process.

Finally the user will be able to access to your webinar or marketing asset, and the XING profile information will be saved in your system.

 

Setup process

In order to prepare the integration we will need to receive from you the following information:

  • Landing page name, link and where it is hosted
  • Form name and where it is hosted
  • Fields to retrieve from the XING user profile: specify which fields you need to capture

  • Your Quick Sign-In for XING customer key
  • A form key

You will use this information to set-up the Integration of a form with Quick Sign-In for XING.
